Functional Fluids

Functional Fluids family consist of amino, epoxy, carboxyl, poly glycol ether functional silicone fluids and co-polymers thereof. Amino group attachments to silicone find extensive use in textile industry. Reactive silicone is also used for masonry water-proofing and hydroxy terminated fluids as building blocks for sealants.

Textile Finishing Fluid

Textile finishing fluid (LK- ASF SS) is non-reactive amino modified silicone fluids that give excellent surface smoothness along with softness and durability.

1)Gives an excellent surface smoothness and softness with a unique handle

4)Readily form emulsions that are dilution stable

6)Compatible with other finishing agents

8)Emulsion stable in up to 600-ppm hard water and 0.1% electrolyte.

Textile finishing fluid (LK- ASF SS) non-reactive fluids can be easily converted into emulsions by using non-ionic emulsifiers. These emulsions can be used in textiles & leather to generate surface smoothness with a soft handle, suppleness & silky finish that is capable of withstanding repeated washing cycles. They are especially useful for cottons, saris, suiting, etc to impart softness and body to the fabric. Choice of fluid depends on type of softness required and colorations.

Product Selection Guide :-

Textile finishing fluid (LK-ASF-SS 90) for best surface smoothness and softness is achieved by, which also is perfectly non-yellowing and must always be used in the macro emulsion form.

Textile finishing fluid (LK-ASF-SS 82) is for better inner softness and a silkier feel is recommended. If inner softness is desired but yellowing is a concern.

Textile finishing fluid (LK-ASF-SS 130) is advised for use.

Textile finishing fluid (LK ASF SS 20) is recommended for surface smoothness and bounce.

Amino silicone fluid (LK-ASF 09), is textile finishing fluids that give excellent surface smoothness along with softness and durability.

These emulsions can be used in textiles & leather to generate elastomeric feel, soft handle, suppleness & silky finish that is capable of withstanding repeated washing cycles. They are especially useful for cotton, saris, suiting, etc to impart softness, bounce and body to the fabric. Choice of fluid depends on type and degree of softness required and coloration.

Product Selection Guide :-

Reactive silicone fluid (LK-ASF R 25) fluid is recommended for an excellent balance of softness and bounce.

Reactive silicone fluid (LK-ASF R 13) is suggested for white and lighter colored fabrics.
Reactive silicone fluid (LKASF R 89) shows the excellent softness, bounce and increase body.

Reactive silicone fluid (LK-ASF R 32) is advised for super softness, it gives a slight sacrifice in bounce however. If yellowing is not a concern.

Reactive silicone fluid (LK-ASF R 35) is suggested for requirements of better body and a stiffer fall.

Reactive silicone fluid (LK-ASF R 20) is recommended for an excellent balance of softness and bounce & cost .

Reactive silicone fluid (LK-ASF R 43) provide supper softness along with excellent bounce.
