Silicone Antifoam Emulsion

These silicone antifoam emulsion are manufactured as per pharmcopia standards suitable for anti-acid/anti-gas formulations in pharmaceutical industy both in general purpose and FDA-approved food and pharma products. LK-AF families of antifoams have found excellent applications in laminates, detergents, resin and synthetic cloth and PVC/PU upholsteries.

Silicone antifoam emulsion of varying compositions are used in chemical process industry such as PVC, textile dye-baths and sugar/distillery.

Antifoam emulsion (LK-AF 610) is silicone based antifoam emulsion containing non-ionic surfactants and functional additives.
Foam formation is generally unwanted as it increases viscosity and reduces the density of liquids, thereby making stirring and transport difficult. Antifoam emulsion can also decrease the performance of the product, give application faults and decreases output. These antifoam emulsions not only effectively kill foam in low concentrations but also do not show any adverse environmental impact (when used in ETP) due to their inert nature (chemically and biologically) and ability to decompose.
